Please be advised that Taylor High School liaison Police Officer Chadwick will now be issuing tickets for any student caught with marijuana on school grounds. The fine is $100. Even though it may be legal it is NOT legal to have in school. Please make sure you inform your students.

WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL: Students learn about density in science classes
At Robert J. West Middle School the science classes are in full swing. Seventh graders conducted a density lab. Taking four liquids including oil, water, corn syrup and dish soap, students had to hypothesize which liquid was the densest and which liquid was the least dense. September 9 Taylor High School held school wide expectation meetings with all grades. At this time students were informed and reminded about rules and expectations. They were also told about the many services that are available to them here at Taylor High School.

MCDOWELL ELEMENTARY students hear program on bullying
McDowell Elementary School recently had a fantastic and fun program on bullying. By the end of the show the children learned many coping skills and to think, “Bullies don’t have the power – I have the power!”
