Mrs. Harris’ class and Mrs. Cahalan’s class at Randall Elementary meet twice a month for “STEAM buddies.” Using activities from mystery science, they created an invention that would pick up a paper apple without grasping it with their hands.

Taylor High School Griffin Volleyball’s Pink Out Game for breast cancer was held recently. Coach Rybski was proud of her JV team, was lost two of three games from Southgate Anderson, 24-26, 25-20, 24-26.

On Oct. 9 the West Middle School Marching Band performed for the home football game against Monroe. The band led the players and spectators in the National Anthem. HOOVER MIDDLE SCHOOL students make cloud in a cup
On October 9-10 Hoover Middle School students in Ms. Passarelli’s seventh-grad science class tried to make a cloud in a cup. They are learning about the water cycle and were creating different stages of it.

The students in the POHI (physically and health impaired) and ASD classrooms at Taylor High School combined to do cardio drumming with the physical therapist and classroom staff last week.
