WEST MIDDLE students listen to important message

Recently Ventriloquist Richard Paul brought his conflict resolution presentation titled “It’s OK To Walk Away” to all sixth graders at West Middle School. With the help of audience participation, Mr. Paul talked to the students about how to avoid conflict.

He encouraged the students to speak kindly to one another, use manners, and be patient. When conflict does arise, Mr. Paul suggested that the students take a deep breath, think of creative ways to resolve conflict or ask others for help in solving the conflict.

Mr. Paul’s presentation was made possible by a donation from the Downriver Federal Credit Union.  The credit union incurred the cost of this presentation. The school has appreciated the support that the Downriver Federal Credit Union has given over the past several years.

Mr. Paul has other presentations, including one on bullying. He offers his services, free of charge, thanks to the credit union.  If you are interested in having Mr. Paul come to your child’s school or other organizations, contact Mr. Richard Paul at careyandpaulgroup@gmail.com.
