The Taylor High School DECA club competed in the Eastern Michigan University district competition for spots at the state career development conference in March.
Thirty-seven students will advance on to states, and the school is incredibly proud of all of our students. This was one of THS’s highest scoring years. Even the kids that did not qualify for states posted tremendous scores. THS is in a very tough district with amazing competition.
DECA Director Mrs. Lundgren would like to thank all of the teachers, parents, alumni, administration, and volunteers for assisting in preparing our students for this event and for chaperoning and judging the event.
The first mock competition was huge success and what she felt helped contribute a ton to their success this year. It could not have been possible without our volunteers.
THS could not be more proud of the DECA program and their amazing advisor Mrs. Lundgren! Now that is showing some #GriffinPride!
