WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL gets a hand with a healthy habit

West Middle School thanks physical education educator, Kirk Miller, for successfully writing a grant provided by the American Heart Association. His grant application was approved and West Middle School received three new drinking fountains in our gym and cafeteria areas. This grant was for $3,580.  These drinking fountains allow for students and staff to refill water bottles. This is another important step in promoting good healthy habits. The importance of being hydrated has been well documented. West Middle School believes that healthy students are better able to learn.
