ROTARY FAMILY FUN DAY features West music department

The Rotary Club of Taylor held another successful Rotary Family Fun Day at the Sheridan Center in Heritage Park yesterday (September 26).

The event has morphed out of the old “Stop the Violence Day.”

Hundreds of people — possibly over 1,000 — attend each year to hear a program that includes the musical offerings from West Middle School, free food. health tips, children’s identification programs and much more.

Amy Wagel and her Zumba buddies also got into the act this year, and the students and families joined in to the beat of the music.
